BUMMER !!!....Thumbs are important!!....Especially on the dominant hand....I'm right handed and not very talented with my left, when my right hand was in a cast I found out just how difficult everyday things can be... Everything from tying shoelaces to scratching hard to reach spots to more fundamental hygenie type things.... Thank God for big rolls of TP......
Anyway, maybe you can get the Doc to put in a swivel attachment in the cast that can screw into your Excal... Might make for a pretty steady shooting rest... Could be a next great shooting aid on the market....
No doubt, It's going to be an interesting season for you... Good Luck and Please Don't do that again!!!....
