They had no idea I was there, I snuck up on them from the road direction instead of the stand direction. I've got down from stands when there were deer around and then the guy shoot a 10 point from the same stand.

No I meant I left a stand in the dark last year and there just happened to be a buck near it when I got down. It was pitch black.

Hey tye and kinger took a small buck opening morning with my son out at devils elbow with a shot gun. I will try to send you a pic when my brother in law sends me the pictures. What a year third deer this year ! Two with the crossbow one with the shot gun awsome

You shot one at Devils Elbow? How did you get permission to hunt there? Nobody is allowed to hunt there except my best friend and I, and his parents own Devils Elbow.....
