improvement to excalbur
ONLY ONE THAT I CAN THINK OF!I WOULD LIKE TO SEE EX CAL COME UP WITH AN ADAPTER HANDLE THAT COULD BE ATTACHED TO EITHER SIDE OF THE RAIL FOR CARRYING THE XBOW WITH THE LIMBS VERTICAL-CARRYING THE XBOW WITH A TREESTAND OR BLIND ON YOUR BACK IS NOT EASY ON THE LONG HAUL--LS
Some great ideas. Many have been posted before with little impact. In the end the market and consumer will have the changes they want. In 1942 Joseph Schumpeter a Harvard economist called it "Ceative Destruction." It is the revitalization of products or markets based on the alteration/improvements of products. The destruction of an old product and the creation of a new or improved product or service (Pony Express, telegraph, phone, e-mail) is the consumer's desire for improved products (wash tub, old wringer washing machine, modern washing machine, steam cleaner). Some one will improve provide these features as they may be more important to us, at this point in the development of the crossbow, than another 10 FPS.
I vote for:
Pistole grip
Adjustable cheek piece
Groundpounder type quiver mount
a Quiet Cover.

The only ex who has a piece of my heart is Excalibur
I would also like a pistol grip on the forend.I plan on making one.

Thanks for the complements guys. I bought an Excalibur because I was wanting to own what I believed to be the best crossbow made. I'm pretty sure I did just that. Not saying that some things can't be improved on but I believe Excal is always striving for that too. That being said I'm sure they look at our suggestions and changes and see if its feasable and practical to make any of these changes. I know I'm happy with my Excal!
