I do not have to leave the switch on and drain the batterys to remind me that I am an Idiot. I have come to that conclusion long ago.

Let me tell you about something stupid I did with my Excalibur.

I came out of the woods one day. plced my foot in the stirrup, grasped the string with both hands and flicked the trigger with my thumb to decock the bow. I forgot to take the bolt with broad head out of the bow first. Fortunately I had the strength to recock the string before letting the string down. I don't think that's a mistake I'll make twice.

Wow, this thread got way more attention than I figured it would. I feel much better about it now.
