good call Grey Owl, about 5 hours north of Adelaide on a friends property and yes its been a terrible few years. To top it all off, we are in Autumn atm and we have had something like 15 consecutive days above 35 degree (Celsius) heat which is another record. Hopefully tomorrow the temp will fall to about 30 which is still ridiculous for late march but its definitely an improvement.

Yeh a buffalo hunt would be a great trip for the X-Bow! its all a matter of time and money i guess.

The pic below is sort of a goats-eye-view of where I took the shot from. You can just see me left of center standing by a tree.

Awesome Goat. And very nice shot. I would think that with all that fur it would be hard to track him. It would sure soak up a lot of blood before you could see a visual on the blood on the ground. Good thinking on a neck shot.
