I first read this book by Kathy Etling back in 1990. I review it just about every year. I really consider this book to be the bible for what I attempt to accomplish every year.

This book distinguishes the differences between average bucks and super bucks better than any other out there in my opinion. It gives you a keen insight into the behavior of mature whitetail bucks. In addition, it gives you great information as to where you should be hunting for these brutes.

The tactics described in this book are responsible for several of the very large bucks I have harvested.

If your an antler addict, it is a must have.

I've been reading "Giant Whitetails - A Lifetime of Lessons" by Mark and Terry Drury. Probably one of the best deer hunting books I've ever read. These guys are hardcore and the book documents several huge bucks they've taken in great detail. Awesome pictures too.
This past winter I also re-read most of "Eastern Upland Shooting" by Dr. Charles Norris. A "must read" for anyone who does upland bird hunting. That and anything by Burton Spiller or George Bird Evans.
Lately most of my reading time has been occupied by various books on Brittany's and training as I work to get my newly aquired Britt in shape for this fall.
