No, Bob ... but like Carter, I must admit, "I've looked on a lot of Excaliburs with lust."bstout wrote:Ray, you've never run your fingers up and down the stock & forearm on your Excalibur?raydaughety wrote:Alright Bob, I'm starting to worry about your relationship with that bow![]()

I'd bet even Grizz has done that!![]()
Of course, that doesn't make me better than the rest of you who haven't controlled yourselves.
Grizz
As I'm new to Xbows, I have been tuning arrows for best impact, refletching, testing b heads, adjusting LOP and eye releif, considering a higher comb for better eye alingment (less parallax), shooting different positions. As a former competetive high power shooter I'm anal about accuracy and have most of the accuracy items corrected. I am confident that out to 50 yds my arrows will impact within 5/8" of POA using hunting shooting positions. Still considering a raise in comb height for faster target acquistion. Still looking for a more consistant arrow, better spining, less tuning.
Overall, I say "Let it begin".

I have been shooting my CB since about May. Added the STS and a Boo string and feeling very confident with it now. Got my tag for Wyoming Mule Deer so come Sept 1 I will be in the Big Horn Mountains chasing down some nice Mulie on my first attempt with a CB. Looking forward to this verrrry much!

Life goes by quick - so don't think about going hunting - get out there and DO IT!
