I don't take any chances with arguments, losing friends and/or money. Everyone I know understands this and don't ask.
To re-enforce this, I did lend my ATV to my 64 year old father in law last year. How bad could it be right? Everything he owns is destroyed by my brother in law. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Two flat tires and covered in mud head to toe, and a breather box with mud in it. Couldn't tell the color. He was suppose to go trapping with it. Where, under the swamp?
