Ya cresting rubs off shooting to, maybe someday they will make something we can use that wont wear off!
As long as you always shoot with the same vane or fletch down they will wear only in one spot, and stay looking like new the rest. And they're only like .35 cents each and can be changed and rewrapped in three minutes. Cresting is fun to, but not for me.

thats my problem also.. ive shot some arrows for my compound that were crested and those wear off quicker than the wraps.
