Are these to be an entirely new design?
I agree with others who have already posted that it'd really be nice to have them adjustable for brace height. I'd also like a design that puts the stopper(s) at/near the optimal spot along the string in order to get maximum effectiveness. I'm thinking those spots might not be where the STS stops the string. I envision rubber stoppers further towards the limb tips on a "leaf" spring type of STS.

Re: Excalibur String Stopper
The one I saw wasn't adjustable. Being adjustable isn't a buying factor for me. Having a quality material at a good price is more important. I keep my brace height right around 1 1/8th" more or less. If it's close to that, then I'm fine.
I'd like something that looks nice. I want good rubber that's soft enough to absorb the vibes, yet durable enough to last. I want the paint to match my rail. I want it affordable and include a set of replacement rubbers with the purchase.

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Re: Excalibur String Stopper
Just put it on and a few twist of the string one way or the other and your brace height is correct, PLAIN AND SIMPLE, even a caveman do it

Here's my orginial one . . .just a couple of L brackets with limbsavers attached. That worked great until the brackets broke.

Then I made the brackets by cutting the "L" from a old plastic toy the kids had stopped playing with . . .

I just recently made a trade for a manufacturered STS. Works very nice. They have come a long way since we tinkered around with the idea here on the forum a few years ago. A forum member turned me on to the idea and guided me though making my own. There's some smart folks here.
