Have a look at this and see if you think you might want an STS system...

Well its not going so well today boo string is to short and the sts system doesent fit my Exomag properly. I will be returning both.

From what the guys with the STS system on this site have said, the system has to be modified to fit an Excalibur. Something about trimming the stoppers... someone can be much more specific I'm sure- chime in guys.TrophyBuck wrote:Well its not going so well today boo string is to short and the sts system doesent fit my Exomag properly. Re: Should I put on a STS on my phoenix
The stopper is not the problem its my riser. I would have to cut alot of the rubber of to let the string just rest against it, thus defeating the purpose of it. Most risers have a flat edge but mine is curved and has three different holes on each side. There is a pretty big gap between the riser and the bracket. I will post some pics, and yes i know my bolts are rusty.

Re: Should I put on a STS on my phoenix
Is the excal version gonna fit the older bows? Someone should come up with one to fit them.
Boo/Comfybear Custom strings
Re: Should I put on a STS on my phoenix
my exocet is the newer riser and mine fit great....i trimmed the alum bars a bit to allow more adjustment to my strings brace height "IF" i wanted to....where i keep my brace height the STS fit perfect with my string just inside the high brace mark....if i want to move it forward all i need to do now is trim the rubber pads how ever much i want/need to move my brace height, right now my bow is shooting great and it's not broken so i'm not gonna fix it ..........bobkurisu wrote: From what the guys with the STS system on this site have said, the system has to be modified to fit an Excalibur.
