Re: Poachers!

I caught a segment of a hunting show the other day. The dude was hunting some private ground in Illinois. All of a sudden, he starts yelling "You'd better run!"

The camera cuts over and shows some guy with a rifle (couldn't tell if it was a high powered one or low powered one  ) running across the field. He had slipped in on this private property and had pulled down on the Host's deer decoy! Before he could shoot, the Host or his Cameraman spotted him and started hollering.

This is in Illinois, where I believe they do not allow any type of deer hunting with rifles. And even if they do, they certainly don't allow it in bow season!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

I have asked where you have heard that peircer, and also sent you a pm asking how you heard that. All with no response back at all. I can only assume that you are trolling, since you have given me no reason to think otherwise and the fact ts your first post even though you have been a member since May.

"Native" is an ethnic group.
No, I think it was people. People tresspass and poach.

An adjacent landowner likes to sight his slug gun in over a 3 month period on a weekly basis ( a little excessive). This just adds to the anxiety level for the non/anti-hunting neighbours. I know it's important to sight the gun in so I take mine up North in mid October where shooting is less of problem. Maybe it was someone sighting the gun in.

If you're not part of the solution, you might be part of the problem.
