For those that don't care, I just picked up the new tri-fold blind from walmart, $24 and I think it is going to be an awesome tool for turkeys! Folds up to fit in a turkey vest, and when unfolded it is enough cover for even the twitchiest of hunters. It is a "must have" in my books.
Or, just carry on feeding the troll.

David, I need links and pictures. 8) Can my son hide behind it with me? He loves hunting!!

Just went out and took a couple pictures, that is the same case in front of the blind in second picture. It is very cool! 2 people? I bet it would be pretty easy! I can't get over how light it is.

It is taller than the "stake" style you are talking about, I have one of those too. This one is smaller (BIGGER set up, smaller to pack), sets up and comes down way faster too.
Check out Ameristep website to see pictures, your be surprised.

Shoot my own stock strings now. Bought a munch jig and Boo sent me some free string to play with. Will only make them for myself. Very time consuming to make.

3 or 4 hundred dollar investment, and a couple hours per string, frustration and sore hands and Old Jim could sell them for double the price also. After he tests them out for years to make sure they don't explode first. Best to wreck your own bow than someone elses. LOL

There are many benifits to custom string, but what you said secret is VERY true, Danny Miller/Excalibur do make good strings!!!
