A cool crisp morning. Get to the stand early to let the woods die back down, close your eyes and relax( the excitment wont let you go back to sleep) Its the most wonderful, peaceful, thing that you can imagine.A REAL HAPPY PLACE! You never know what is going to happen when it gets light enough to see.I love it.

Deer season in a stand, staying awake never an issue. Spring turkey - different story. Not that I don't come close to having an anurism at times, just have to fight going to sleap as it gets light (before gobbling starts). Comfortably all settled in on the ground may be a contributing factor.flightattendant100 wrote:close your eyes and relax( the excitment wont let you go back to sleep)
