Re: FLETCHING QUESTION

So much to learn. So I am using stock Firebolts, and will be hunting with 100grain X-Act's, now if I remember correctly, I was told at Boo Fest that I should be using a heavier broadhead to help with FOC ( which I still need to understand lol ) So if I strip off my stock vanes and use the 2in Blazers, is there enough difference in weight to help with the FOC ??

FOC only really matters w/ fixed blade b-heads. It covers up other problems, imho. You should be ok w/ mechanicals.........

FOC explanation: Think of a dart being thrown w/ a lot of weight forward..............

Hill Billy FOC check: Mark center of arrow w/ a sharpie, mark balance point, the diff is 5% per inch on 20" arrows...............
