I tried to put mine on my Eclipse without doing the coating removal and ended up with couple extra shiny spots that I didn't really want.... :oops: Danny tried to console me and said it doesn't effect the way the bow works....just gives it some character! :lol:[/quote]

Heck no! I'm one of those perfectionistic people on some things...not all, but when it comes to my crossbows I am. I can't believe I was that stupid to ding my own darn bow like that. :evil: But....he did get me laughing, so I guess I'll live! :lol:

i used a homemade mount for a season before switching to a munch mount. i really don't understand why excalibur even bothers with their existing mounts. nobody seems to be happy with them as it's harder to rest the bow in a stand and isn't comfortable while using a sling.

buy whichever one looks better to you as they're all proven and the weight of the munch mount i have (i'm not sure if there's different models) isn't even noticeable.

I have used many not the GP though all work well just a personal choice
Danny Millers is no flash but works
Munch is Sexy and works

Not at all hard to cock or load arrows as you will see

Oh ya the age old question about wood chucks is 0 they don't have any thumbs :lol:

I think the key phrase is "if they could chuck". Either way Ill update the poll to include 0.
