I've seen the broadhead targets advertised.....but have wondered whether that includes mechanical broadheads or not. Seems to me that a properly functioning mechanical broadhead is gonna be a problem in almost any material since you are trying to take it out of a hole that is smaller in diameter than the fully deployed blades.....

I have done all of my sighting in and practice with field points, then I check accuracy/consistency with the Rage practice tip that came with the broadheads...then I just hope that the real broadhead will fly like the practice tip if and when I can get the opportunity for a shot on a live target before the season ends.....

I have only tried the Excal Mechanical BH and it comes out easier than the FP, no problem at all, but sometimes its a bit hard on the blades and bends them a bit.
