Re: If money were no object...
The factory features on my current M380 are very desirable and most casual hunters would not change a thing I'd say. Me, on the other hand, would like to see Excalibur offer a better quality optic, lets say by Leupold, and that would be my number one request.
Number 2 would to offer a better trigger, most casual hunters are perfectly happy with the factory offering but a guy like me who desires to pull on a tuned trigger is much happier and my groups get tighter. I have always been very keen on what the right finger is doing before the shot.
Lastly, I prefer to carry light and compact equipment into the field, always have, always will. I know there are a few areas on the Matrix where material can be removed to shed weight and reducing fastener weight as mentioned already can also be included in this category.
None of the above would carry a huge price tag except a Excalibur brand Crossbow specific 2-7 Leupold with VX3 glass and Firedot reticle and I am perfectly fine with that.

Also.....how about a sliding rail design to have one single bow that can be used at 125lbs draw weight to 290lbs draw weight. Maybe not a great sales move but how awesome would that be. Truly one bow to fit everyone. Hmmmm.

Re: If money were no object...
Titanium riser if it made it lighter, and either carbon or titanium rail.
I'll stick with Agings stock.
Apart from that I'm pretty happy with what I have.......

Re: If money were no object...
I would like to see Excal make the Trigger Tech Trigger standard on the 380 and 405 maybe even the 355 as the factory trigger because of extra weight on these bows is just not desirable. At least in my opinion. Also make a adjustable butt stock for length with Boos string compartment of course...lol and yes stainless Torx bolts.

Re: If money were no object...
Just a thought but easily de mountable riser and limb assembly would be good as well.
Was thinking about that a while back and just got reminded about it on another forum.....

Re: If money were no object...
my one desire ok ok not realy I have a many desires ..
But I have always wanted to see a crossbow scope developed with a decent rangefinder feature.
I've said it before. if somebody would invent one (crossbow specific) that would sufficiently range deer form 15 to 60 yards and have decent optics and price it around 200- 250 it would be million dollar + seller.

A Stringer and Rope Cocker as 1 (Compact and User Friendly), instead of 2 separate device.
Traditional Stock Matrixs!
Wood (Traditional/Thumbhole) Stock Option.
Mounts on stock, for Rope Cocker:
For a cleaner look:
or maybe Wood Insert Grips (Laser Engraving) with Build-In Compartment for Spare String and Things.
Umm never mind...

Re: If money were no object...
If money were NO problem I'd buy Excalibur at their price and visit this site often and have a team of engineers and innovative minds to carry out all these idea's and I would (well someone has to) just go on hunting trip and test the bows out. Don't wake me up!
Re: If money were no object...
Burris did that a few yrs ago, cost:$1200. It was for rifles however, not xbows.strum wrote:my one desire ok ok not realy I have a many desires ..
