eotech 512 crossbow holographic sight

I really like mine as well . On my 300fps +/- a few custom vixen when sighted in at 20 its dead on at 20 30 40 and 50 yards .The included sight in information is prettly verry close . the range finder is great too , would be a good sight for 3D shoots . I'd like to try a magnifier some time but just the sight nearly bankrupted me

I bought a Leapers UTG 3x magnifier .
It's not as slick a mount as the G 33 but it lines up ok and the optical quality is not at all bad.
It cost a fifth of the price of the Eotech one.

Gents,

I purchased another used 512 and it now sits on a Darton Rebel. The rail is similar to the Micro 335 so I knew from my Excel experience I would have two problems:
1. The Eotech G33 would not fit the Darton
2. The price of the G33 was just not doable
So:
I went to Optics Planet to see if they had a Valentines day sale and looked for other magnifiers. I could not find the Leapers, but ran across the Vortex VMX-3T. Took a chance at $189.00 and scored big time. While not the military grade that the G33 offers, the Vortex is perfect for us crossbow guys. It lined up with the EOthech 512 Xbow and required NO adjustments. Crystal clear optics and easily "flippable" from left or right. Saaaaaaaaweeeeet!!!

An FYI for purchases in Canada................I spent some time trying to get a source for them. Not in stock anywhere I could locate. I placed an order for one at policeordnance.com (Markam Ontario) just yesterday. $563.27 Cdn all in.
