I personally like to keep my "deer arrows" above 400 gr. If you plan to shoot the factory quills, I'd go with 150gr BHs. If you buy 150gr Slick Trick Xbow Tricks, AND 100gr Slick Trick Magnums (or 125gr), the blades are all the same and you can interchange them. Gives you lots of options.

I heavier arrow will dampen vibration, quiet the bow and help with penetration (not that you would need help necessarily with this bow, but it's not a bad "by-product")

ok well the time has finally come, I joined this forum in 2004-2005. I remember those days dreaming of owning a Pheonix or Vixen. It's been 10 years since and busy with school, now work and focusing on rifle hunting lately. Not active on the forums at all. Well the day is finally here! A nice gift from both myself and the family to celbrate my 30th birthday. A camo 335 Micro! I'm speachless.

I'll post more details in upcomings threads!

On another note, I bought a Muzzy 6 pack 100GRs with it, any reason those won't do the job for whitetails? The practice head looks like it will take down a moose!

Thanks for the tip! I made sure to grab a 12pack of 100gr field points before walking out of the store!

Can you please tell me more about where I can find that fancy string you're sporting?
