XX75 2020 are fairly stiff in spine when bein short fer crossbow use. Anudder trick but will add abit of weight is to double shaft, example 2013 inside 2213, 2016 inside 2216. I used to do almost full length 2013 inside the 2213 usin alum. inserts read n front was 568 gr wid a 100 gr BH.

I don't own a 405 however I do shoot Easton aluminum XX75 2216 20 inch arrows out of my matrix 380 and prior to the matrix I had an Exomax that I shot the same arrows out of it. Both crossbows shoot these arrows with excellent speed and accuracy. My setup is this, 20 inch XX75 aluminum 2216 arrow fletched with three blazers with as much helical as I can get using my Bitzenburg fletcher, a plastic Easton flat nock, an aluminum Easton front insert and a 100 gr field point or 100 gr NAP Spitfire mechanical broadhead. This arrow component combination yields a total 400 gr arrow including the 100 gr point. Never any problems with these arrows over the past 6 years.
