****FWI, bringing scopes into Canada from the U.S. is no problem for Canada Customs. The U.S. Homeland Security has an issue with it but if you're an American citizen you're okay.....if you're coming to Boofest and just bringing a 'backup' scope. :wink:
So in my kit would be fine?

Absolutely! You're coming to a crossbow event and you're bringing backup gear. Reasonable. I can bring a scope into Canada and declare it and pay the taxes no problem. The problem is if I, a Canadian, buy a scope in America and try taking it out of the country back to Canada.....U.S. homeland security has a problem with that. You, as an American, traveling with bows and spare parts that'll be returning with you back to the U.S. is no problem. Should you forget something behind while at your event that would be unfortunate but 'what are ya gonna do!' :wink:

Boo,
I will be working on a "special" deer call for Boofest.

Made from a "buckeye double dyed red & yellow" stabilized blank.
One of a kind, as this was my suppliers last blank and he isn't expecting any more. :lol:

edited to add a "sneak preview";

I have expanded the list of calls I will provide to 3 calls!

Image

The top call is made of "Morado", the middle call is a red/yellow double dyed stabilized blank, and the bottom call is "Olivewood" and has a small imperfection in the wood that I thought added character to the call so I left it as it is and didn't try to fill it to make it perfectly smooth (circled in image below).

Darrel/DaGriz has offered 2 packages of 100 gr Toxic crossbow broadheads. Paulaboutform can attest to the effectiveness of these. I can attest to the fact that they fly really well, generally right with field tips.
I will not have possession of the Toxics. Whoever wins should contact me to have Darrel mail them. Thank you Darrel!

....just received 3 packages of 3 complete setups of Firenocks from Dorge, the owner and inventor of the Firenock system... each set up includes the glue and batteries... these Firenocks are the most advanced lighted nock system which uses missle technology to activate and deactivate the lighted nock... Dorge's gift for for the auction is a $210 value....

.... I want to thank Dorge for selflessly being part of this fundraiser... he immediately said yes when asked to contribute!

Jerry, If you have any items that you would need to ship to Canada, I could save you or Boo the shipping costs. I'd be glad to come by your place and pick up. I will be attending Boofest this year and could transport for you.
