To share from Google Photos:

1. Log into your google account.
2. Click on the nine*dot google apps menu and select Photos
3. Select Albums from the left hand menu
4. Click the plus icon to create a new album
5. Add a photo and click Create from the upper right corner
6. Give it a name ,like say "Excalibur Forum" and click the check mark
7. Now click the three dot menu at upper right and select Sharing Options
8. Click the toggle to turn on sharing and then X

All of the above you only have to do once. Now any photo you add the your shared forum will be viewable by others.

To get the photo to appear in a forum post do the following:

1. Click on any photo you want to share and select it so it fills your browser and six menu options should appear in the upper right hand corner.

2. Click on the share icon and then choose Add to Shared folder and select your Excalibur Forum folder ( or whatever you name it )

3. Now go to your shared folder, select a photo and then right click on the image and your browser should show a drop down menu. Select (left click) the menu option titled Copy link location.

4. Go to your forum page where your typing a forum post and click in the Img option. Now press Ctrl-V or right click and paste between the img tags.

Tada!

postimage.org is much easier, but if you dont like having multiple accounts scattered all over the interverse, then the above works.

Set up an album on google photos, but just downloaded a picture, clicked on the image to open it, right clicked & copied image location, and clicked on the Img tab here and pasted the location between the "bookends".

Looks like I failed. Sometimes the pics shoe up when I look at the forum, sometimes all I see is "IMAGE".
Changed the image host to postimage.

Decided to add the google photos to my phone. This using apps technology is rough on my old brain, but I may have it figured out.
Put a picture of my son's buck he shot last season in the album (please ignore the background in the pic, we're remodeling the room and the wall is being stripped of wallpaper) and will see if it posts here.

Didn't work, switched to postimage for the picture.

imgbb.com is another site, however I have not used it so I am unaware of how it would work.

If I am reading the above correctly, you downloaded the image ? If so, you don't want to do that. Just make sure the image is viewable in the browser. One click in google photos should maximize the picture. Then by right clicking in the browser you are copying the link location which points to google photos. (You can tell because the link location will start with "https://lh3.googleusercontent.com\" and then a long string of alpahnumeric characters. If you download it and then view it, the link location will be to a folder in your computer which will not work since it is not accessible from the internet.

That would explain why you would see it on the pc that has the pic downloaded but not from any other location.

Big picture, postimage.org is far FAR easier to use.
