Blemished limbs are $80 USD. Great investment. Many of us have them.
About what I paid. I have them so that if I ever have a problem, I can fix it and then send them in for warranty later. That way, there's no wait.

Call Excalibur direct for a set of back up limbs, about $80 CDN. A good deal for US customers with the exchange rate.

I just bought a set of blems thru dawn at excalibur 3 months ago and the price has gone up to $100 US but still a great deal when it’s hard to impossible to find any blemish and they are half the price of new first run limbs.

I always season my limbs, needed or not, O set brace height and for the first vweek I own a new bow it is cocked for the duration. When I decode to shoot each day I uncock it with my rope cocker and check brace height, then I shoot and when done I cock it again till the next time I shoot it again, or the next day. It may not be necessary, but even on my 405's I never had a limb issue, and if I would have, it would have been taken care of before I hit the woods like happens yo some, now is the time make sure it's solid in my opinion.

The other thing it does is give me the utmost confidence in my equipment. I started doing this when I had my only ever problem with a 335 Micro I bought used,, never had an issue after I started doing this, one thing is for sure, it won't hurt, but if you feel it's not necessary, it certainly isn't mandatory!
