matrix 310 has a swept back riser 330 has a forward riser both risers can be switched back and forth. i did that to
a 310 and gained 20fps. but you need to change r.e.d.s. because brace height is greater on 310.

Well that explains it. Thank you. So the only real difference is the riser. Which makes the brace height higher on 310 essentially making it slightly Eadie to cock. Didn't know the risers could be swapped out. Then again, I'm not a tinkerer.

I have a 310 and have a regular riser (straight) set up with reds and string installed so that I can swap it out and hunt with a 330.
Takes me about half a dozen shots to zero my scope is all.

So I'm thinking the Matrix 310 I have on order is standard because it has Reds installed. And appears to have a high brace height. Which would be the regular riser ,correct? Where did you get the swept back riser? I also have a Matrix 330. Does that have a standard swept back riser? I think I will have essentially two of the same bows when it arrives. ??? Just hoping for a little less cocking effort.

The 310 and 330 have the same rail length. The only difference is the swept back riser that is on the 310. All other Matrix models use the same straight riser. If you put a 310 riser on a 380 you will end up with a 360. If you put a riser from a 330 - 355 - 380 - 405 on a 310 you will end up with a 330.
