Hey Woodsman, You had to have fished the Big Brule Lake, huge Northerns in there !.... It is a beautiful area for sure!...:wink:

No. But it sounds interesting! Lac Larouche(mid way) and the Outaouais(northern end) are my favorites. 8)

Yeah, the one in the park!... Nice place, last time I was there was about 8-9 years ago... All kinds of fish species in there...The lakers get pretty big in there too... :shock:

Picture is a little dark but this is the size of the rainbows that we catch at this lake when we are moose hunting. We kept one to eat and release 3 in about 1 hour. I caught this one with a 5 weight fly rod, I thought the rod was going to snap.

I made out the tail, nice size and good eating....I like a fly rod with a ultra-light spinning reel.

Nice fish guys!!

Smallmouth bass caught in the Pacific during my USCG days. :wink: :lol: Actually, it's a good sized Papio. Very good eating. 8)

Nice brown trout Carl, I bet it put up a good fight on ultra light rig. That is why I like using a 5 weight fly rod.
