I've never been able to double serve successfully. Your serving will work but the higher the poundage the shorter it will work obviously. If you use it try rubbing pure bee's wax in with your thumb. Better yet if you have a 200 lb or greater bow get some .026" Angel Majesty if you can live with the black residue. If it is less then 200 then try Brownell's crossbow serving which is marginally thicker than BCY's. I think the black last longer in crossbow serving. You had better get a good serving tool, you need to get crossbow serving on there right tight but the Angel serving should be done marginally less tight. I use a pair of pliers on the wing nut of my Cavalier when serving and even then I was breaking the rods. I ended up adding a tube (thanks dogucker) over the rods to prevent breakage.
