I'm not 100% sure but I thought deer were color blind?
And personally I'd choose Hot pink.

I take some of that glow in the dark floresent tape used on bikes and stuff. Just wrap a 1/2" strip between your fletching and nock and you can see your arrows 50 yrds or more at night with an ordinary flashlite. Just like those brite eyes you use for trail marking. very cheap and can be used on your existing arrows.

You can find a small UV flashlight at most pet stores that projects a beam and uses LED bulbs instead of the long tube type UV light for checking currency which does not project a beam. They carry them for detecting pet urine stains in your carpet, mine is made for a company called "Urine Off" they call it "Urine Finder" and range in price from $15-$20 Canadian depending where you go. So snow camo seems to be out lol as every piece of snow camo I have seems to glow when you shine a UV light on it in the dark. Every garment I have in snow camo has been washed every time since bought new with Scent Away laundry detergent that is supposed to have UV inhibitors. So is snow camo pointless or is there a better UV inhibitor I should try?

I have a blaze orange wrap and vanes. Then this year I took the reflective mailbox numbers and cut a 3/4 inch strip out of it and added it to the very back of my arrow. It really stands out with a light at night.

same result as I get GP. You can buy the reflector tape at just about any bike or hardware store. Just wrap you arrows above the nock and you wont lose an arrow.
Just have to look for them at night.

This is what makes this forum such a great resource!!
I like the idea of the reflective tape on the knock.
I need one of those flashlights pyd.
I am fairly certain I got busted in my tree a couple weeks ago because of deer being able to see UV. I should have been invisible, but I was snorted at while sitting waiting for the sun to rise.

You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.
