Great story Mark. Congrats to your wife on a great hunt. I'd love to see the "deer is down" dance sometime! :D

Hi everyone, this is Avis Rainbolt aka Huntin Granny. I am Mark Rainbolt's wife. I want to thank all of you that posted the nice replies to Mark's story about my first deer taken with a bow. I have been hunting for a few years and have taken 3 with my rifle. Some may not consider what I harvested as trophies, but to me they are, as long as they provide meat for the family. I look forward to reading your stories and hope to have more of my own to share as well.
Happy hunting and May God Bless you all and keep you safe!
