Wow your story kept me in suspense

I couldnt imagine trying to find that deer in your spot with dark and fog all around me. Good tracking job, I was thinking you would need the dogs. Did you haul him out alone? By the way next time it will be a typical 12

Thankfully no! Otherwise they might have found me, beside the buck, dead of cardiac arrest! I phoned the landowner and he was only too happy to come out with his ATV, help me drag the deer 100 yards to the trail, then lift it over the fence and onto the machine. We had barely gone 200 yards from the gut pile when we could hear a bunch of coyotes arrive there for a party!
