One of the best sites for optics is optics planet. They have reflex and eotech. Reflex sights are good. I am accurate out to 50yds. (from bench, + or - an inch or two) Good enough for Hunting. If use for target or longer range, then you may want a scope. You definitely want a multi-dot.

I had thoughts of trying the Wyvern one on my S&W .22 pistol, but it has 'blind' dovetail, i.e. the sight won't slip over it, has to come on fro an end that I don't have.
