When we get our buddies to keep us company we know it's not for a long time. We know it's going to hurt bad when they leave. Yet we still do it knowing that the pain is coming and it tears us up every single time. I've had a few of those best friends come and go and I know the good out weighs the bad. Somewhere, some place I know they are waiting for me. Some day I'll be with all my buddies again and I won't have one single worry because I'll be surrounded by the best love a guy could have.
My heart goes out to you. Been there, done that and I'll do it again.
