I published a piece about 30 years ago called "Barnstorming for Bass" , about fishing in remote FL lakes from a J-3 cub on floats. That reminded me of it (& how old I am) :)

I've been a pilot for over 30 years (4 out of 6 in my family were pilots). I do it for a living. I love it as much today as I did when I first started. Welcome Aboard!

Funny you say that brayhaven. the 180 super cub on straight floats - Summer - Wheel ski - winter would be my plane of choice. Not the J-3 but the J-3 on steroids :lol:
