We just need a little broom action to clean it up!!
And to stop posting in response to Joe and his various identities.
If anyone suspects that Joe has come on board again reporting it will be far better as is evidenced by recent posts.

I just realized that it may be in the next Ex-blast news letter and not in the Feb Ex-blast. But here it is below.
Rob Dykeman
Feb 18 (5 days ago)

to Peter, Krystal, me

Peter – Can you post this on the Boofest thread and also make it highly visible on the forum / web site. We will Ex- blast this as well – details of checks for auction items from non-attending people can be listed later on the forum etc..
Thanks

Excalibur Crossbow Annual Fundraiser Event

Due to the overwhelming support for our 2013 Fundraiser event, Excalibur Crossbow Inc, has decided to make their charity drive an annual event. Excalibur is proud to announce that the first official Charity Event will be held in conjunction with the 2014 Boo Fest Crossbow Extravaganza hosted by Don Katsumi of Boo Custom Strings.
“Excalibur is very fortunate to have the most loyal and supportive customers and we’re proud to be a part of an industry that cares about their community. Excalibur is honored and excited at the opportunity to organize and host a charity event that can make a difference is someone’s life”. Rob Dykeman – President, Excalibur Crossbow Inc.

Each year, a different charity will be selected and all funds raised will be donated to that cause.

Regretfully, the Canadian shooting Sports industry lost one of our own on August 15th 2013 when our good friend Nick Manioudakis from Stoeger Canada passed away. Nick was 39 years old, well known and highly respected in the shooting Sports Industry. All funds raised at this year’s event will be donated to a trust fund in the name of his two children for their future education. The 2014 Charity Event will take place July 26th, 2014 at Boo Fest. Details of the event and auction items will be posted on the Excalibur Crossbow Forum.

Thanking you in advance for your support

Don im sorry to see the thread go the route it has. I hope everyone here is able to hold back and allow Joe the chance to make good on his promise, I think he will if we don't beat it out of him. The fact hes willing to do something says a bit about the man.

Lets all just give it some time. Please, and let this thread get back on track.

No more negative posts!!! lets let it go! its damaging to the charity that boofest stands for.

I have posted on this before as well. However I need to say this, responding to said person on this thread, in any form must be withheld! Don't do it! From now on focus on the matter at hand and doing what we all like to do. If any of you have something to say about anyone on here, move it to another part of our Forums. How many times must this be said? We are all intelligent Human beings. At least enough to understand what I've said. This thread is for Boofest and Charity only!!!! Nothing else should be posted any further on this thread.
If this thread disappears because of comments that people cant control, it would be a complete shame !!! It is very simple to "take it somewhere else"! Please do this for all involved. Ignore said opponents and respond with appropriate answers to the thread only.

PLEASE PEOPLE!

Sad to see someone so young pass on, glad to see the charity is going to help his children .

Boo wrote:Monica, this is how I look at this. This thread is too important to delete because it's for a good cause and future causes (all causes will be for children).

I think it is important enough those who have been posting about Joe and responding to Joe should exercise some self control and leave this thread for what it was intended. Using it as a battleground does not contribute at all. It is important enough that Joe should stop posting on this thread.

Boofest was started with the intention of everyone meeting and having fun. Last year Kayla's situation came to light and the Boofest attendees came to the table to help this child's life out. The unfortunate part is that Kayla passed away, but the good part is that we all made a difference. That is the purpose of this thread, to make a difference in our lives as forum friends and in the end for children.

Please! If you want to have some fun with Joe start another thread like Strum did. Please!!!!

All that I am asking for is that Joe and Joe related post do not appear here and that we have fun on this thread and at Boofest. Am I asking too much of everyone?
Don has asked everyone one this thread two times at least now to please restrain from making comments toward Joe. WHY CANT YOU RESPECT !! his wishes ? No matter what Joe has done or said its about time everyone just STOP !! For the sake of Friendship, feelings, and what is left of who you really are (Humans). Its alright to get something on someone and (all in fun) bash them but even that can be taken to far at times but this is plain crazy to keep on and after you have been asked not to because this thread was started as a good thing that has turned chi_ty. I don't even think starting another thread on the subject is the right thing to do eighter. Lets Keep the good in what Don started and Keep the Bad out and away from it Please.

I agree....I have spoke but once in regard to what I have seen...I am willing to forgive and move on....enough said and no more to be said...My Lord and Savior has forgiven me from all of my transgressions and I am not willing to NOT forgive others....my words previously spoken were from the WORLD and not from the LORD who dwells in my heart...I hope all of you and namely Joe and his family forgive me...so sorry....

It makes me feel physically ill to see what's become of a thread about a fun annual event.

It's not about "I donated more than you" or "what are you contributing?" .

Everyone please just stop posting to this thread and let it die.
Monica.. I always listen to your inputs and you help keep us in line (we need that) :D
but on this one I just think deleting the thread wont solve anything.
its a great thread with great people for a great cause..
I think said person is being ignored as we speak .

Tim, if you ever get up here for the event you'll see a few things that will please you. Tis' a family event so no partying or drunken behavior (I have a backhoe and I will bury any one drunk up to the neck until sober    ). Everyone talks to everyone. There's a lot of hand shaking. Tons of smiles and laughing. Bows dryfired and driven over. Everyone puts their heart into the charity draw. Lots of pictures. Some kids, though really there should be more. Lots of safe shooting, I never chewed anyone's ass for unsafe actions (trust me I have no issue with chewing someone out for that). There will be some really good items for the auction too! I'll be auctioning off another one or two of my bows!
To get back on track, this really does sum up Boofest. Great people, great times and each one seems to take on a life of it's own. You can't walk more than 30 feet without someone trying to feed you, show you their latest gear or say, "Some putz just ran over Vichix crossbow!". Lots of friendly rivalry too. Where else will someone do their best to try to kick your butt on the 3D course, spend the next hour helping you fine tune your bow and then try to kick your butt again. :D
