I liked being in the trees but started getting nervous having to hang a stand every time I went out.

Last year I hunted on the ground and loved it. I have had deer walk within less than 10 yards of me, what excitement!

The nice thing is I could dose in and out with no worries.

100% ground blinds. I have taken several nice bucks with shotgun and muzzleloader in heavy cover, all 30 yards or less. Needless to say I was thrilled when Michigan OK'd xbows. I do most of my blind building and shooting lanes in March, for the following season. Naturally, wind direction is everything.

100% ground (walk & stalk) or blind as our trees are not so straight and mostly thorny
