I'm grateful to be allowed the freedoms we have in this great country, and I'm certain our neighbors to the north feel the same way! I can't say how much I love these Excalibur crossbows, spot on accurate, tough as an anvil, and just a pleasure to handle. I must say too that the NAP Thunder Head is one wicked broad head! I'll use them as long as they are available!

xcaliber wrote:It's heating up everywhere in the midwest, this cold front coming in should help too. I gotta get the kid his buck in range, then I'm getting a doe! I am hunting the firearms season with the Vortex this year, I got my one buck, so I'm not allowed to hunt with a fire arm until muzzle loader season, then it's doe only for me too. I am not complaining!
Good luck, Ohio should be kicking into high gear this weekend too.
You can still gun hunt for does in the firearms season with bonus county antlerless tags.

Congrats on your buck, I haven't been on for a while and have been hunting hard with no luck... Coyotes have kicked out most of the deer in my hunting area so I need to start hunting some varmits!
