My only concern as of now is Brace Height of 350. In the manual it said, "correct brace height is important and will affect the performance of your crossbow and string."

Matrix Series Models: 1/2"-1" Brace Height. My 350 SE's Brace Height is close to 2"...

I just measured mine. To be 1/4" off my bumpers my brace height is 3/4" on my 350 LE.

I can't attach a pic to upload because "the board attachment quota has been reached." lol

But i measured it. It's definitely a little more than 1 1/2" :?

I wonder if you have the correct string on it .The stock string for matrixs is 31 inches.

"Brace height is the distance the string sits measured from the joint where the riser meets the rail."

I favore 1" to 3/4", if I get below 3/4" I give it a twist or two, and about every 100 to 150 shots I turn the string around and change ends to keep any wear more even. Here is how I set mine.

I usually measure from the back of the string, this would be a little over 7/8" if measured from the back edge of the string.

So, here it's Excalibur Matrix 350 SE's Brace Height. You have to copy and paste to your URL.

Looks like you have a new unstretched string on your bow. Mine is the same as Wildcatters picture at 3/4" brace once stretched and set correctly.

I only cocked the string back a dozen of times. As of now it's still a brand new string that haven't been shot with any arrow. It's still measured a little more than 1 1/2" which concerned me based on Excalibur's manual.

Here is you picture you simply click on the Img tab in your reply window and then right click on Image

Now it looks like you need to unwind the string so the twists are out of it since it is an endless loop string,,,, don't do that with a flemish string. I would recamend you cosk the bow and leave it cocked for 12 to 24 hours, I do with all new bows I get, I don't know if it helps settle the limbs or not, but I haven't ever had a limb problem with any new Excalibur I have bought. I know it will help get the string more stabilized!

I would also recommend you contact Vixenmaster you won't find a great string cheaper and get a flemish string fer your bow,,, I believe he had some under 20 buck's in the classifieds.

I see from the picture that you have the factory string on the bow. They are purposely making them short now and it will stretch in time. I agree with cocking it and letting it sit overnight or even for a day or so to stretch it.

Good advices you guys i left it cocked over night and unwind the factory string and here is the result that fits within the manual limit for brace height. :D

However, i am wondering why didnt they do this so no-one need to adjusting it. Unwinding the string left me feeling the string integrity is weaken.
