O/T Gas >>>>>>>
On the way to work this morning gas was 2.69 a gallon and on the way home it was 2.89 so I filled up. The lady inside said in the morning it will be 3.00. I saw on the news tonight that some neighboring States already hit 3.00. I think I might stay home this Holiday weekend instead of the 300 mile round trip to camp.
$ 3.16 a gallon over here in Panama City and rising........
When I return back to Alabama in 2 weeks my drive to work will be 80 miles round trip.(19mpg) for me thats $13.30 a day just for gas to work.

Yeah also our wages or gas reinbursement is not going up. I work for a company that employees over 100,000 people and they aren't doing one thing about it. Our cost are going up, but where not getting cost of living increases. Everything we buy will go up. I think where headed for another great depression.

I may have to agree with you Nudo7, a recession may be not far away. My prediction, 10-15 months.Nudo7 wrote:Yeah also our wages or gas reinbursement is not going up. Do you think they will lower the price of hunting licences to subsidise the hunters?

Here in Syracuse NY last night it was 2.66 at 1 station & 3.09 at a station 100yards from the 2.66. The 2.66 station had cars backed up for 1/2 mile. Today I was in Rochester NY & Hess had it for 2.85. All the others were from 3.09-3.29. I'll see what it is in Albany tomorrow. This is going to hurt.
Get out & Enjoy.
How? How is it that gas prices are $1.26/litre in the morning and $1.13/litre 12 hours later on the way home? The gas in the in the holding tanks is surely the same. Gas companies are just as bad as the looters, taking advantage of a horrible situation to line their own pockets more than they already have.
