I have some and I have some compact fixed-blade broadheads, i'm still trying to figure out which to use during hunting season??? As long as I double band the Shockwaves they should do fine right guys?

Mine shoot great with one band.

Thanks Tar Heel, I was just a little sceptical about mechanicals in crossbows, because even on the Excal video they say that they don't recomend them because of the rapid acceleration. But since my other broadheads don't group well I think I am going to be using the Shockwaves this year!

I use 100 gr. NAP Shockwaves in open areas. I've had very good luck with them. They hit very close to the same point of aim as my field tips. They've also killed well for me. I never double band them.

In thick areas I use slick tricks as I've always worried about hitting brush with a mechanical head.
