varizone scope

Post by mfh »

I was wondering...is the varizone weather proof? Can I use it in the rain or is it going to be ruined?

Also - what flip caps are you using...the ones they provide are lacking...I want to get some flip caps...what works with this scope?
Thanks,
Matt

Yes you can hunt in the rain with it. :) I don't know anything about the caps though.

Give bj a call or email him , he has the blizzard caps. Tell him which scope you want them for.

I used the #4 clear blizzard caps on both ends of my varizone and haven't had problems with moisture buildup in either rain or snow. -JR
Stock Exomax and now a Micro 335. :)

Excalibur now sells flip caps for the varizone.
I got them, and they are great!!
I think they are blizzards all the same.
