I find these crossbows to be awfully awkward in a treestand. Do any of you use a bow or rifle rest/holder device that works well? Right now I just hold on to it all day, but several times I've nearly dropped it. I hunt in a standard rifle-type stand (with the bar that wraps around the seat).
Go to a hardware store and pick up a couple of screw in hooks, the ones that have a plastic covering on them. They work great and they're cheap, I always keep 3 in my pack... Or you can buy the hooks at some archery pro shops for about a buck and a half...
