went out today it is my first season bow hunting and i ended up getting a deer. we had a doe in heat come by our stands within 30 yards and a 10 pointer, 9 pointer and a 4 pointer came in following her in tha order. a group on horses came by while we were trying to get them to 20 yards and the deer got spooked i had the 9 in my crosshairs as the horses were passing 40 yards from us but didnt want the deer with a gaping hole to run by this group of people so i held off figuring hed be back. i ended up taking the 4 point at 3 yards, at 12:30. Im definately hooked now. in total today we saw 9 deer 5 of them being bucks.
