PORTABLE HUNTING BLINDS

Post by SOUP »

Folks,
Has anyone used either of the Ameristep "OUTHOUSE " or "STACKHOUSE" portable blinds for hunting with crossbow / firearm.
I saw Wally World had the Outhouse marked down to $ 30.00 & the Stackhouse @ $ 59.00-
I wondered if anyone used them for Turkey or Deer & how they liked them -were they sucessful or too much trouble.
Thank you in advance for your time 7 help.

I have used the outhouse and doghouse, on first time setups sometimes they spook the deer and sometimes they don't but if you can put them up a week os so ahead its better.

Portable Hunting Blinds

I have two of the Outhouse models and I agree that they should be set up a couple of days before you use them. I have seen a lot of deer from mine and harvested two. I have learned to open the windows on one side only so that the deer can't silhouette me between the windows. The blinds are perfect for horizontal bows and $30.00 is about half what I paid.
I would rather be hunting.
