HAHA Bend over and take it

Post by TYE »

This guy came in wanted to trade an old carved limb Exocet 165 with the light light brownish colour leaf camo pattern on it. It did have a really nice red dot scope on it which is probably a $150 red dot. But the bow was like 7 years old. It had 4 aluminum bolts that weren't the greatest, and the rail had been waxed like crazy too many times, I mean by where the string was sitting, the rail was like green. Anyways, the guy wanted to trade it in towards a Hoyt compound bow. He was saying he bought the Exocet 165, brand new from someone a year or two ago, and put the red dot on it, and he spend almost $1000 on it. Once I heard that I was like OH MY GOD, this guy got bent over and then some. RIPPED OFF I felt pretty bad for the guy.

I think the guy did get taken for a ride! By the way I think the placment you got at the archery shop for CO-OP is going to be very educational for you, at least in the hunting aspect i think forum members will eventually start asking you questions about their set up and different stuff. Maybe it will take a little work off GaryL, Digger, and all the other more experience members 8)
