Score!!!

Post by ecoaster »

I just asked my boss yesterday if I could have the last week of April off, and he said.....................no problem  . Usually it is a fight getting any time off. I will have an entire week to devote to tracking down a gobbler! Can't wait.

Anyone else ditching work for the opener?

I'll be out for the opener as well. I have been scouting but haven't come up with anything yet. Seems strange I saw turkeys almost every day I was out last year. Maybe its still early.

Congrats, I'll be going out that week too( I hope) I just signed up for the Turkey course on the 23th of April so I hope things work out so I can hit the bush on Tuesday. Just ordered some Zwickey Scorpios too. I haven't
been out scouting yet,but in the fall I saw turkeys just about every time I
went to my stands. I'm also building a shop for a customer who sees turkey in his bush all the time. I can't wait !!!

hikerman,

I see you're from Orangeville. That's not too far from here. Need some help to convince the land owner he has too many turkeys running around???? I can bake some brownies or something to convince the owner  .

In all seriousness, pop in and ask them, you never know what they will say.

Hi! guys I'm new to the site, but really like what I see. As for Turkey I just finished the course an hour ago. So I will be in the bush on the opener. I shoot all different types of weapons, rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader and xbow (exo200)

Talk to you later bones

My dog, Nellwyn is also itching to get out in the turkey woods.

I was making a cover for my camera (making a bit more stealthy for filming some hunts) and couldn't resist making her a mask. My wife thinks I'm nuts  . She may be right. [/img]
