Hey guys who use these to fletch bolts, which one do you have? Straight, 4 degree offset, or right helical?

I placed an order today for a straight one, not sure if I got the right one or not.

I phoned Tim and asked him to switch it to a 4 Degree Offset Fletcher. That's the right one right? I will be fletching Blazers, and 4-5 inch Duravanes with this. 4 Degree Offset is the right one I hope. Oh and I may try some feathers out.

I use the straight model with 1 degree offset for most of my bolts and arrrows and I still get Robin Hoods, so it works for me.

Both these are straight fletched by myself Tye. Go by what you feel is right.

I use right helical with better than great results. It makes my bolts spin straight and true, and if I do my part, it's possible to hit the dimple on a pimple of a flea's left ball. :)

Heck last year I decapitated a grouse at 32 yards.

Tye,
I have a set of 4 and 8 degree arms for mine. Can't really see much difference in accuracy with field points, but broadheads have different flight characteristics and some seem to do better with more spin.

I will stick with the 4 Degree arms, for a little extra spin with my broadheads. :)

Now any recommendations for glue?

Tye,
About any good fletching cement will work with proper shaft/fletch preperation. I use Fletch-Tite because I do a lot of cedar shafts & feathers for my trad bows, but it works well with carbons or aluminums and vanes if you clean & prep the surfaces properly. I have used MEK, but have recently been buying acetone and having good results cleaning with it.

Okay, I'll try the Fletch Tite it's only $5.99. I'll get some acetone too. I know I can use a razor knife to remove fletching from my aluminum bolts, but what should I use with my carbons? I don't wanna buy the zip strip thing cuz it's too expensive.
