Hip quivers?

Post by sidekick »

Anybody out there use hip quivers? Looking for suggestions on hip quivers that will hold broadheads and will swivel out of the way.

I used to have several Cat quivers that I really liked. I haven't seen any in the local archery shops...do they still make them? :?:

I used a hip quiver until last fall when I got a Dan Miller quiver mount bracket that holds the quiver above the limbs. I can carry the crossbow using the sling now, so the hip quiver isn't needed. Nothing wrong with the hip quiver, though. It offers the advantage of a lighter, more compact crossbow to carry. Most hip quivers with a foam lined hood are safe to use with braodheads.

I use a hip quiver, don't like v-bow or xbox quivers. However that being stated might try the Dan Miller quiver this year and see. :D

I keep my quiver in my back with all my other goodies. I DONT Like a quiver mounted on my bow,it throws it off balance, and makes to carry on my shoulder on sling.I should have back pack. It opens from the top andis the cats ass.

I have both the Excal and Dan Miller, prefer his as arrows are never in the way. His quiver has two rubber grips for shafts, which I see Excal has gone to now. His bracket will take Excal quiver.
