older carved limb exocet

Very excited! I'll have it on Monday!

If I upgraded to mag tip limbs and FF string, what would my new FPS be? It's 165# draw...

Where do I get mag tip limbs/how much do they cost?

Your Exocet will give you an extra 10-15 fps with both those upgrades. Approx. 305 fps top end.

I asked BILL T. THE SAME QUESTION a couple years ago. H is answer sellit and buy anew one.IT SOLD WITH in hours of being advertised. I wished I had a dozen of them to sell. Bill explained the gain of a few ft. per sec. wasnt worth the expense.Does the older exocet have shorter power stroke?IF you should decide to sell do it in sept. guys will fight over it.

I'm a tinkerer by nature. You're probably right though. I'm not gonna mess with it; at least for a while.

I'll have it in hand on Monday. Can't get here soon enough!

exomag this has run out but he has posted more since this auction

sar, this is what I did to my 165 Exocet a couple years back. I put the mag tip limbs, FFF string and dissipator pads on it. I'm happy with the performance. It was my first x-bow, so I wasn't selling it. I just wanted to kick it up a notch. I still have my carved limbs if anything was to go wrong with it, or my Wolverine's limbs. It worked good on a couple of does last year.

My 91 #165 Exocet recieved new Mag Tip limbs, home made 1" Aluminum riser extension and homemade Aluminum angled riser shims to duplicate the newer style. Bolt speed with Golt Tips w/100gr tips is 318 fps.
