Bag target

Post by sidekick »

Anybody have pics of frames they've built for hanging bag targets? I'm going to build one this weekend, but looking for ideas.

I got one of those 3'x3' hangers. I picked up 2 2"x4"x8' and did as follows. A 4'x4' frame with the 2" side facing the shooter. Drill holes through the top 2x4 close to the ends to mount eye hooks (this is where you will clip or tie the bag). Cut the other 2x4 in half and mount those like outriggers to the front and back of the target. Very simple and cheap and I have been shooting my exomax into that with no problems and no movement of the stand. It is also very easy to move.

Farmers home made is sure nice, with the small wheels and all. I myself made mine from PVC pipe however no wheels, is light and works just fine.

I just use a couple of saw horses to hang my target from.

Works great.

The a frame design allows me to wheel the target and frame to where I want . Lean it back the legs lay flat and wheel it to where you want to shoot then just lean the frame back the other way adjust the legs and you are ready to shoot.
