Additional Tag Brochure - Ontario Hunters

Post by bow hunter »

Just letting all Ontario hunters know that the additional tag brochure is available on the MNR website, under the fish & wildlife menu. It gives all the info you need (number of tags, number of tags per hunter per WMU, hunt codes, etc.). There are a few changes this year. Tags for restricted zones (not including controlled hunts) are available through the phone in system now. The lines don't open until 8:30 am on the first day of the phone in, instead of the usual 12:01 am.

Somebody should check my math but I got a total of 118,000 antlerless deer tags in Ontario for 2006. It is interesting to see than most of the area do not even get enough applications to meet their quota. Awesome, I can smell the backstrap cooking now.
